Junior High Christmas Project

This Christmas, the Jr. High group at my church decided to help out the community. All the groups in the group were all given a family to buy Christmas presents for. The eighth grade girls were gien the Rodriguez family. They had two girls and one boy. We all raised money to help purchase the gifts on the list. We got the oldest girl, Jasmin, a Monopoly game and a Hannah Montana blanket. We gave Briana a Barbie doll and some Hannah Montana clothes. We got the boy, Alexis, a soft, cute teddy bear. We got the parents a gift card to Wal-Mart.
Today, I went to church to help wrap gifts for the family with the Jr. High pastor, Nathan Goble, and my leader, Bailey Blazek. We wrapped the gifts and then we were off to deliver the gifts to the family. We had one of Nathan's friends named Joel, come and translate for us. We arrived at the home and when we got inside, we began handing out the gifts. The kids were very excited to get these gifts that we had bought for them. We heard a lot of "gracias" and "muchas gracias" from everyone. It was an awesome time to help a family in our community.
See ya soon! Merry Christmas!!!!
