3 MORE DAYS UNTIL WE LEAVE FOR VACATION! On Wednesday, my family are driving to Phoenix, Arizona, for Courtney's tournament. On Thursday, meghan, Paige, my mom and I are flying to Atanta, Georgia, for the Jr. National Championships that Meghan is playing in. After the whole volleyball experience is over, the whole family will go to FLORIDA!!!!!!! We'll go to Walt Disney World, Cape Canaveral, and Key West. Can't wait to see my grandparents in Atlanta, and I can't wait for a trip of a lifetime! :D

Junior Year, Here I Come!

SOPHOMORE YEAR IS FINALLY DONE WITH!!!!!!! I honestly don't think I've ever been this excited for a summer vacation. All my finals went well, which, now that I'm thinking of it, why do we have the biggest tests of the year on the last day of school? It almost ruined my summer vacation mood...but not anymore! 80 days of pure freedom!

This year was definitely the fastest...school went by so fast! Oh, and I'll practice driving over the sumer...I think I'm ok for being a 2 day driver!I cannot wait for 2 weeks to pass...Florida cannot come any faster!

My formula for summer:
Georgia+Florida+spending time with friends+Link Crew training+athletic training+watching(not playing!)volleyball+high school group activities+driving+hanging out with my family+sleepovers+sleep+barbecues+lots of T.V and internet+HUME=Summer 2011!

Athletic Training/Driving News!

Well, I made athletic training! Yay! So that means I get to help all the athletes at our school, and that makes me super excited! I start on August 15th, and that's also when football season starts! I'll get to train at least one football game this year, and hopefully I'll get Varisty Volleyball, a soccer team, and baseball to train. That would be soooo fun! But its all up to the head honcho now...

I start driving on the 9th of this month...so that means stay off the roads! But I'll drive with an instruster in that day, and then after that, I'll be leagally able to drive with Mom and Dad! How exciting!

Just an update on life!

School: I made Link Crew! My Link Crew leaders with me are my friends from HSA and other classes: Carmela Delda, Ambika Rajaygor, and Jimmy Kingston. I'm excited to get started with that! Also, because I made Link Crew, I can get a Letterman's Jacket! Eeep! Also, I applied to our school's athletic training team! I've already had my interview, and I should find out on Wednesday if I made it or not! OOH! Speaking of Wednesday, I GET MY YEARBOOK ON THAT DAY!!!!!!! Yay! :D

Life: Going good right now...I'm excited to be taking a permanent break from volleyball(it was a tough decision, but I'm happy with not playing anymore...I'd rather be involved!)and participate in Sports Camp and VBS at church! I'll be doing worship for both activities, so I'll be worshipping and getting excersize at the same time!

Loving the Love

Hey guys!

As you may have seen, I've changed my blog name from Head Over Heels to Loving the Love. I really just wanted to rename my blog...as esasy as that. My life will always and forever be head over heels, but I needed something new. So with the help of Reiles, this is my new name.

Guess what! More to come on Monday(since im on Spring Break!), I'm starting driving class on Monday! It will be an all day class, for 8-4. Yikes. But by Wednesday, I'll have all the requirements needed to take my permit test!!!!!! YAYAYAYAYAYAYAYAYAYAYAYAYAYAY! :)

Chasing a New Dream

Well...until next year, my ASB percentage will have to remain at 75%. I didn't make the final cut. Of course I'm disappointed. Who wouldn't be? But I believe I did the best that I could do...at that's still great. And I apprecite everyone supporting my application process...it means a lot to me!

Now...I'm trying out for Link Crew! I am also wanting to find a way to help in the ASB room...so hopefuly next year I'll be lucky enough to be in ASB.

Looking at a blog of my dear friend this morning...made me think of people who mean so much to us. My friends, Reily, Chrissy, Mikaela, Yemi, Sam, Conrad, Christian, Deidre, Spaz...they're one of the reasons I can be myself, because I know that they'll support me in whatever I do. Whatever hardships, boys, or just stupid stuff, they've got my back. Especially my close-knit group of friends at school. And I wanted to say I'm super sorry to one of them.

I Hate Earthquakes...

I HATE EARTHQUAKES.

Why must earthquakes and tsunamis be apart of our life? All it does is make the world hard. For the people who experience it first hand and for the people who are affected by the disaster.

Like me.

My dad found out at 1:00 AM this morning that if the team was deployed to Japan, he would be going with them. Now, I'm upset, as any hormonally infested 16 year old would be. But what makes me even more upset is that he got back from New Zealand on Wednesday. And now he's gone again for who knows how long.

I hate tsunamis.

So, as of right now, it is still unsure if the CA-TF 2(California Task Force 2) is leaving for Japan, but please continue to keep them in your prayers. Also, keep the families in your thoughts, especially the children. I know for a fact that many of the guy's kids are very young. It made me cry listening to them tell their dads that they loved them. So again, please just keep the whole operation in your prayers.

My Life...as of 3:13 P.M.

Well, hiya people. I feel so awful. I haven't posted in TWO FULL WEEKS!!!!!! AAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHHH!

So, I'm turning the big 16 on Tuesday! Yay! To celebrate, my mom and I are going to go to Glen Ivy Day Spa in Corona and get facials and girlie stuff like that! I'm really looking forward to that day. And as of right now, I have two presents staring at me with big eyes saying, "Open me!" trust me, right now i want to just tear them open and see what they are.

In other news, my dad was deployed to Christchurch, New Zealand, for the 6.3 earthquake that they had at the beginning of this week. I don't know when he'll be back, but if you can, please keep the whole 74 man team and their families in your prayers!

And now, I want to post some pictures. I haven't done that since we've gotten our new computer, so it felt like a right time to do so.

O.K. I lied. I can't see my pictures, because the Photo Viewer hasn't been updated yet. So maybe next time.

World War I

Imagine being this man, in the first World war, her hasn't seen his wife and kids since 1914, he has watched his friends die in front of his eyes, and he has lost all hope in surviving the war. This is his letter to his wife Molly, and his children Danielle and Mitchell.

Dearest Molly,
I want this war to be over. Those Germans never seem to want to call it quits. I fear that this war will never be over for me, and that I will never be able to see your beautiful face again. I pray to God everyday that I will be able to watch our kids play together in front of the radio before their show came on. How I miss them so.
If I could change anything about the war, it would be these horrendous trenches. These awful things could make even the strongest men break down. This is the worst thing I have seen in all my life. Thankfully, right now I am not in the front lines. However long I am in the back lines is how long I am guaranteed life. Even back here, the rats continue to eat us alive. These mangy cat-like creatures continue to eat our food and our equipment. But in the front lines, it's even worse. When a soldier dies, the rats usually go for the eyes, and then they continue their way in for the rest of their meal. I fear that one day I will become their dinner.
Another thing that sickens me to my core is the poison gas. Those Germans just want to kill us all. At first we were attacked by tear gas. It may have made me cry, but it wasn't as bad as the chlorine mixture that German doctor made. The first time they used it against my rank, I was stationed in the Marne river. The cloud was a strange yellow color, and at first, no one knew what it was. We were quickly ordered to put on our gas masks, and my comrade, Nathan, found his too late. I miss his company. He was my brother is this horrible place.
I wish to get away form these trenches. I am longing to see you and the children again. Tell Danielle and Mitchel that their father is safe and that he loves them very much. As for the picture I have of you and the children, I cherish it whenever someone dies. I know that I have you to look forward to when I come home to England. I love you very much Molly, and I cannot wait for the moment I see you again.

growing up...

In less than one month...I'm gonna be 16. Sixteen...that number seems so interesting and dangerous. The year I can officially get my liscence. I'm going to be a junior in high school next year. But I've also go TWO more years until I can officially move out. Two years until college. COLLEGE. College seemed like a huge idea in 5th grade...and I feel like I should still be there. This summer, Meghan and Courtney are going to compete in a tournament in Atlanta, Georgia. And when that tournament is over, we will be driving to Orlando, Florida to spend a week and a half down there before flying back home. My dad says it will be a fun trip, and hes also said our last big family trip with Brooke. Oh eM Gee. Last family vacation with Brooke? Just yesterday it feels like, I was in kindergarten pretending I could fly like an eagle, I was in 4th grade making my sugar cubed mission as a project, I was in 7th grade and I was learning the ropes of being homeschooled, and now im a sophomore and I'm reading core novels, learning about World War I, writing more and more in Spanish everyday, trying to understand geometri concepts, and becoming a young woman in the process. I never thought I could grow up, just like Peter Pan, and yet here I am...growing up. Watching the final episode of Hannah Montana made me think of college for myself. What will happen to me? What will happen to the relationships I've made in the 15(almost 16) years that I've been on this earth? Me and my friends may never see each other again after high school...it amazes me. I love all my friends...Reily, Chrissy, Mikaela, Yemi, Conrad, Christian, Jacob, Cassidy, Caitlyn...everyone. Growing up make me grateful for everything that has happened in my life...for all the influences, all the pain, all the laughs, and all the smiles. All the rain, all the double rainbows, all the clouds, and all the snow. My life is awesome...maybe growing up isn't that bad after all.

Seriously though, do you? I do. Miracles happen all the time, you just have to open your eyes. Just like a woman falls into a train track and someone pulls her out in the nick of time. The 1980 US Olympic Hockey team beating the Soviet Union for the first time in 20 years. All miracles.

Just like Lazuraus being raised from the dead, water turned into wine, demons being driven out of a man using only one word. All miracles. Just performed by a real miracle worker.

Student Stress Day! :D

No school for me today! After finals(which I did amazing on! BEST FINALS EVER!!!!) we get what is called a Student Free Day...but I like to call it a student stress day(thanks Mrs. H!). This weekend has been so much fun! All I've done...is nothing...well actually a couple of things.

SATURDAY:
Coached Paige's volleyball game, had picture day for that as well. After, went to Meghan's first volleyball qualifier of the year, and watched her lead her team to a 3-0 start for the year!

SUNDAY:
Went to church...Paige, Mom, and Court went to Court's volleyball game(she was 2-1, so she starts in Division 2) and after babysitting the high school staff kids, I went over to Sam Sabella's house for the rest of the day! Conrad Apffel, Sam Sabella, Sean Sabella, Dillon McNichols, Brooke Paz(Spaz), Cory Simmons, Deidre Knight, Chrissy Zschomler, Sam Ortiz, Daniel Ortiz, Mikaela Andringa, Kevin Harwood, and Tim Hayes came as well. We washed his and Dillon's car, and that turned into a big soap/water fight with sponges and rags and a hose and a bucket full of soapy water. Then we came home(to Sam's house...)and played Super Smash Bros. Brawl the rest of the evening...we also watched Indiana Jones: the third movie( I don't know what it was called...but it was really good!)

MONDAY:
nothing...Wii all day long.

Haha, but seriously...I am loving Student Stress Day...

Montana: Day 8

Well, today is my last full day in Montana...and get this, right now, as I am typing this...it's snowing. Ugh, I don't wanna leave...who cares about the report that I have due when I get back??? I just want to stay here.

So, to recap on a few days that I was unable to post on...
Voyage of the Dawn Treader was amazing!!!!!!!!! The best one of them yet! I loved every minute of it! And for those of you(like me)who said Edmund Pevensie(Skander Keynes) wasn't cute, think again!!!!!!!!!! Anyways, great movie, I can't wait for the next one to come out!

Christmas was really fun. On Christmas Eve, we hosted a party at my grandparent's house. All the Potters, Dauges, and Pattersons came. We had a great time dressing up in Christmas theme for a costume contest. My mom(dressed as a christmas tree)got first place and Cinder(dressed as a present)got third! On Christmas Day, we opened our presents super early(we woke up at 6:30, so that's 5:30 for all of you SoCal peeps!)! Due to tight space in the car, "Santa" was only going to give us one present. Paige got a walking "FurReal Friends" dog that walks and barks(so far, Cinder doesn't really like her), Courtney got the new iPod nano 6th generation(it's super tiny!!!!), Meghan got the new iPod touch(I want her to get Angry Birds, but she thinks it's a boring game...whatever!), and I got a new Amazon Kindle! It's so fun and easy to use...and I'm done with one book and I'm halfway through another! My parents have to force me to get off of it...haha! :)

Another thing we have done over this vacation is skiing...yes I'm an old fashion person..I DO NOT SNOWBOARD!!!!!!(Mostly because I've never tried it...but still!) We drove up to the beautiful Blaktail Mountain Ski Area, abd the both days we have gone...we skiied the whole day!!!!!! It was so much fun! I skiied so fast!!!

Well, looks like I found a whole five minutes to post this morning!!!!! Today, as you all know, is Christmas Eve! That means, that here in Kalispell, we are having a Christmas Eve Costume Party!!!! I'm dressing up with A Santa mask, and garland around my waist. Hahahahaha, it should be really fun!
Also today, while we wait for dinner to finish cooking...we are going to go see a movie! My family has been wanting to see Tangled and The Chronicles of Narnia:The Voyage of the Dawn Treader. Trust me, I want to see both of them...and both of the reviews are great! But, something is pulling my towards Tangled more...maybe because it's a princess movie with romance(and I'm a sucker for romance movies...), but The Dawn Treader has adventure and it looks funny in some parts...ugh! I can't decide!!!!!!!! Well, we're holding a vote soon...hopefully I'll decide by then!

Well, today we are going to go to the Potterosa again! It's going to be a ton of fun, considering I get to see Otter and Leslie again...(Reily, if you are reading this post...they say hi!)
I'll try to post on Christmas, but we'll be at the Potterosa all day with Otter, Leslie, my cousin Danielle, her husband Brian, my other cousin Kari, and her husband Kit, along with my grandparents, parents, sisters, and Cinder! I love this time of the year!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! This year, instead of my grandparents coming down to cold, yet a balmy 60 degree weathered Southern California, me and my family are going to beautiful, yet 10 degree(FREEZING!) Northwestern Montana! Seriously, it's going to be that cold. But let's just say my family has gotten professional, when it comes to winter gear. I tried on all my stuff a couple nights ago, and I looked like a ninja! And if I was dressed normal, you probably would have said that I had a fever. I was that warm! It was so fun...in fact, you couldn't see any part of my body. No peachy colored anything!

Well we leave tomorrow. I'll try to post for the sake of my friends who live down here...cause they OBVIOUSLY DON'T WANT TO TEXT ME!!!! Hahahahhahaha. But seriously...for all my friends who read this blog, TEXT ME!!!!

Husky Volleyball!

As majority of my readers know, my school is celebrating the 1st league championship for our Varsity Volleyball team in school history! With our 9-1 record, we took 1st place co-champs with St. Lucy's. The came our first ever CIF appearance against Oak Park. We won the game in three. The we traveled to Corona-Santiago. We again beat them in three. Now, tonight, our Lady Husky Volleyball, team is playing in the quarterfinals against Riverside Poly! This is amazing! I LOVE HALLOWEEN!!!!! This year, I'm dressing up as an Indian. We're having a party at my house also, but since most of the peeps that I know are going to my friend Spaz's house for trick-or-treating, only some of my friends will come...its still gonna be a ton of fun! :D

This is ine of the first years that I remember, where I have actually made my costume! I beaded my shirt...even though it took forever, and I made my headband, Iwill do my own makeup and my own hair as well! OMG I'm so excited...but gotta go! Having a huge party means a huge setup!

I"M SO BAD! I HAVEN"T POSTED IN OVER A MONTH! :(
But you can't blame me right? I've had school, and it has definitely taken over my life. Her is my schedule/teachers...

Now, I'm done. My question is, are you ready for school to start? I am SO TOTALLY NOT!!!!! Now, don't get me wrong, I'm excited to be starting my sophomore(wise fool) year at CHHS, but getting all my stuff yesterday was a little depressing. I only have a week and a half of summer left! Oh, and yesterday, if you're wondering, I went to school to get all my stuff. That includes I.D., agenda, temporary schedule, all my books, my new class t-shirt, and so on. This year, I am taking:

World History H
English 10H
Spanish 2
Geometry
Athletic PE
And that's it. NO LINK KREW!!!!!!! Well, I'm hoping that I can become a leader next year, cause you can get a letter for it. Like for the arts, not sports. So, I'll probably have a Letterman's Jacket going into SENIOR YEAR!!! Wowza....that's only two years away...scary. Anyways, all I have to get for school now are some new folders, binders, and, best of all, CLOTHES!!!! You have to look good on your first day of school...haha!

O.K. I just got back from an awesome week at Hume Lake! Excusez-Mwa?!... was totally amazing! I kinda lost my camera for a couple days, so I have pictures from the beginning of the week, and then the last two days...so the pictures are kinda spread apart a little. Sorry about that. Haha. Anyways...back to Hume! Let me say, Rich Baker, Megan Fate, Tyler Miller, Marco(don't know his last name...), Chuck Bomar, and our band, Above The Golden State, WERE SO AWESOME!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! They all made this week even better in their own little way. From the bike jump, to Kajabe Can-Can, to recreation, to the gauntlet(GO CHARLES!!!!), to Chuck's preachings, there's nothing i can really say. Its all so overwhelming. Now...for the pictures! Oh, and by the way, my team, the Leather Belts for OCT, came in 7th place! Top Ten Baby! And sorry for the long post of just pictures, but it was a really long week!

Well, I have so much to do! That is...in the next two weeks. As i write this, I am sitting in a chair in my pajamas with my hair all messed up...cause I am taking advantage of my three weeks off of volleyball. Yay! I can relax before it starts up again...NOT! On Sunday, me, Mom, Dad, Meg, Court, Peach, Kendie, and Nuckolls all leave to Park Moabi by the Colorado River for some camping with the Rowlands! That last until Thursday, only because I have to pick up a registration packet for school, and if I don't, I can't go to school this year. I only wish...cause that would be fun!
Then on Sunday, we leave for...drumroll please...
HUME LAKE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I am so excited to go there. This year's theme is Excueze Mwa?(It's in French...haha) Im excited...did I already say that? Oops. There are smoothie and coffee shops, general stores, milkshake places(and other food), it's a little town that is my favorite place in the world.

Sacramento or Bust!

O.K... Sorry I haven't been on in a while, but I have been In Reno, Nevada, watching my sister Meghan in the Junior National Championships for volleyball, in Lake Tahoe, we've only stayed here for one night, and now we are heading out to Sacramento, California, for Courtney's missed 4th grade field trip.

This vacation has been so busy and fun! Not to mention tiring. I am so exhausted! But it has been a blast! In about an hour, we are going to Sacramento. Courtney's class this year went to Sacramento on a field trip for two days; but because we couldn't afford the plane ticket, she didn't go. That's the reason we are not home right now...haha! And that's also why Meghan won't be going on her video scavenger hunt, and I'm not at Raging Waters right now. Boo. But it's all family bonding, which i love! <3

Well, up until 4 o'clock, I'm completely free. (Wow, did that feel great to say!) I'm just gonna watch T.V. and relax...aaaaahhhhhhhh.

THE BEST ANGEL GAME EVER!

Yesterday, I went to the best Angel game ever! It was so much fun! Let me say, (and I know he won't ever come on this blog...)bu Kendry Morales saved the game! He had two...yes TWO home runs that game! and all together he got 4 RBI last night! It was so much fun to watch the fireworks and all the stuff. And I also got a free pillowcase! How cool is that?!?!?!?!?

Before the game, we had a tailgate party hosted by the Rowlands! (Thanks guys!) The party consisted of hot dogs and hamburgers(yummy!), soda(awesome!), a root-beer taste-test contest(personally, I hate root-beer), and cupcakes in celebration of Kayla Rowland and Meghan's 11th and 13th birthday. Oh, and I was also told that I ruined the game of baseball, cause I don't drink root-beer. But to me, baseball is full of peanuts, cotton candy, and lots of drinks(particualrly NOT root-beer!) So take that Riley! I thought I'd show you all some pics...so here they are!

Well, I bet you've guessed it by now, I'm sick. But it's just the typical fever. But, it's been good enough to keep me from school yesterday and my tournamnet today. Some people would say I'm lucky, and don't get me wrong, it was my first day off from school since the beginning of the year, but I kinda missed school. And then, I missed my tournament today. Boo. Today was the day where we won all of our games! Which, by the way, Great job Jackie, Savannah, Jourdanne, Janae, Marissa, Courtney, and Lauren(for cheering us on :)) You guys did great! I just wish I was there! But good news, I'm feeling better! I should be goin back to practice, and school. Yay!

Today, High School Group went to Oak Tree Lanes to give a try at bowling. Boy, was it fun! We had an awesome time bowling our hearts out, and looking silly while doing it!

For the fist couple games, we just bowled regular. Then, Jason came up and said the person that was infront of us had to do something wacky. Then the real fun began. We had people hopping on one leg, throwin the ball with their least dominant hand, and people sprawling on the floor! I had to do a few dances. But all in all, it was so much fun!

I know that I haven't been on much...but sooooooo much stuff has happened. First of all, I am now 15 years old! Woo-hoo! One more year, then look out! Brooke Buzzerio will be on the road! Haha, jk. Guess What?

Hey!

Well let me say this, there is good news and there is bad news. The good news: its a couple more days until my birthday! And the bad news: the world decided to get mad, and now my dad is going to miss me and my mom's birthday.

This morning, an 8.8 earthquake hit the island of Chile, and as a team member of CA-TF2, my dad is getting ready to head to Chile. The bummer part for him? His passport expired, so he can't travel out of the country. But if his team is deployed, he is spending however long he is out there at the base in Paicoma.

O.K... first of all...SO SORRY FOR NOT POSTING IN A WHILE!!!!!! I have been SUPER busy lately. Again, sorry!

And now to the real portion that I wanted to talk about...today in a rally at school, I was recgonized for being Top Dog!!(that means that I was one of the top students of the class of 2013(woot-woot)with the best grades!)

The theme of the rally was The Wizard of Oz. My fellow classmates and I walked through Emerald City, down onto the Yellow Brick Road, and back to our seats. But before we sat down, we each got a medal! I am so honored that I was chosen out of however many people filled out an application! It was a great time!

Huskies 4 Haiti

It all started with an AMAZING sermon at church on Sunday called the Kingdom Assignment. Then Huskies 4 Haiti was born...

Reily(A.K.A. MY BFF!!!!) and I decided to start an organization called Huskies 4 Haiti. We are taking donated blankets and teddy bears to the people in Haiti. I am so excited to do this!!!! Not only might we take donations from church, we also might do it from school!!!!! That would be awesome!

Please pray for Reily and I as we do this. We are hoping to recieve 1,000 teddy bears and blankets.

Haiti Earthquake

Heyy!!!
I'm pretty sure all of you have heard about the Haiti earthquake that happened almost a week ago. And you all might have heard that a Urban Search and Rescue Team from the L.A. County Fire Department was deployed to Haiti to help with rescue efforts. Well one of the people on the team in Haiti happens to be someone that I know very well. My dad boarded the U.S. Air Force's plane, called the C-17, that was departing for Haiti on Wednesday night. My dad is the Technical Info Specialist for the Blue Team in Haiti. If you have been watching the news, my dad's team is still finding people buried alive under the rubble. The team might be there for up to three weeks. Please keep them in your thoughts.
Thanks to all of you who have been praying for my dad while he has been away. It means a lot to my family. Again, thanks for all of your prayers.

Boat Parade!

Tonight I'm going to be in the Boat Parade for Chino Hills!!!! My boat, the Buzzibbon II, is going to become Whoville for the second year in a row complete with Who girls(that's me!), the Grinch, and his trusty dog Max(at least that's what I think is going to happen).
Last year, I didn't get to be in the boat parade. :( I had to go to practice, and when we got home, it was already over. But now, I get to finally be a Who. And better yet, I might get to be in the Chino Hills Champion!!!!!(that's our local newspaper)
I'm so excited for tonight!!!! If you want to see the parade, go to Peyton Drive tonight by Ayala(ewwwww) at around 6 o'clock. Be prepared...it's going to be FREEZING!!!!!!! And keep a lookout for Whoville!!!!

If you don't know what Scats is, its a gymnastics place in Chino. And we're going there tomorrow!!!!! And by we're, I mean High School group at church.
I am soooo excited to go there! There are foam pits(I mean, c'mon! It's awesome!!!!), trampolines, and other stuff that you see gymnasts like Shawn Johnson(Dancing with the Stars champ; what could be better?) play on. I'm soo excited.
Now to the random stuff. I'm watching Sonny with a Chance. It's one of the newer ones. Its when that weird guy(I don't know his name) tries to get Sonny to confess that she likes Chad Dylan Cooper. I think she and Chad would be cute together, just like Joe and Stella on JONAS and Lily and Oliver on Hannah Montana. I know, I still watch Disney Channel. But I like it!!!!

Thanksgiving yesterday was soooo great. My grandparents came over for a great feast with turkey, green beans, stuffing, mashed potatoes, pineapple cake, pumpkin cobbler and pie, raspberry pie, apple pie, and the awesome cranberry sauce. The dinner was awesome(Thanks Mom!) and so was the desert(Again, thanks Mom!) I hope all of you had a great time doing whatever you did for Thanksgiving with your family. I know I did!

Tonight is the biggest football game of the year!!!!!! Our team is playing Ayala! And we're gonna win!!!!!!!
Of course the game had to be at Ayala:(. But we will show that we own the doghouse.
Speaking of a doghouse, my team finished second in league!!!!!!!!!!! That's HUGE!!!! We beat Ayala and Diamond Bar in two games, but when we played them last, we beat them in three. we shut them down!!!! Our last game was yesterday, and now we have the end-of-the-year banquet to look forward to in a couple weeks!

Frosh/Soph Volleyball!

My team ROCKS!!!!!!!!!!! So far, our record is 8 wins, and 1 loss. That's AMAZING!!!!! The only teams we've lost to are Los Osos and St. Lucy's :(. Oh, and we had an amazing day today at the Ayala Frosh/Soph tournament. Let me tell you about it.
Today we played awesome. We beat 5 teams, and we lost to two, Los Osos and St. Lucy's. We got third overall! 3RD PLACE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I am so proud of how well we did today.
Way to go Kira, Dani, Brooke, Taylor, Alexis, Amanda, Jessica, Christy, Kiana, and Tiffany! You guys all did great!!! I'm so glad I'm on the team with you guys. Thanks Kass for being an awesome coach!!!!! We COULDN'T have done it with out you.

School Updates

To start this blog entry, I made the Frosh/Soph team!!!! I'm so excited!!!!! Our first game is tomorrow against San Dimas. I am pretty sure that we will be motivated enough to beat them. Keep your fingers crossed that we do!
Speaking of school, my first week was good. I'm tired already. The order(and teachers)of my classes are:
1st period:Health Careers I(Mrs. Baun)
2nd period:Algebra I(Ms. Barberi)
3rd period:English 9H(Mr. Murphy)
4th period:Biology H(Mr. Alarcon)
6th period:P.E. 10-12(Mr. Baik)(Don't ask me why I have this class, I don't have a clue)
7th period:Spanish I(Ms. Barberi)(Yes, my math and Spanish teachers are the same people)
So, there you have it! School has been fun so far. Just pray that I don't forget where my classes are(There are a couple blondes in my family, so it's in my blood =)).

Sorry I haven't wrote in a while, but so much stuff has happened this week. There are only three short days until school starts!!!!!!!!! I am sooooo excited about this!!!!!!!!!!
On Wednesday, my freshman class of 2013 met together for the first annual Link Crew Orientation. My Link Crew person(technically, I don't know what her official position is) is Sandra, a senior at my school. OMG, I'm so excited to start!!!! I can hardly wait to start!!!!! Oh, and BTW, I had my last practice of this week today. Probably tomorrow I will find out if I made the Frosh/Soph team. Keep your fingers crossed that I make it!!!! Thanks!

8 more days!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! OMG!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Today was(but still is)fun. My aunt's sister, Kendie(or Kendra)is staying with us while she attends a firefighter academy at Mt. Sac. I don't see her a lot, so it will be nice to hang out with her while she is here.

Home at Last, But Not For Long

Yesterday, at around 4:30 P.M., the fully decorated Candy Apple(that was our van's name) arrived at 14106 Sweet Grass Lane. Let me say something: I AM SOOOOOO GLAD TO BE HOME!!!!!!! I loved visiting Montana, but it was so nice to sleep in my own bed and not have my sheets taken away(Thanks Ry!), and not to be kicked in the legs(Again, thanks Ry!).
But as this title states, I am home for only two days until I leave Chino Hills once again for Hume Lake in Central California. I love it up there. It is so peaceful and serene. And the best part is,(actually there's two best parts) I get to spend quality time with God, and not only is my dad going to be a counselor, and my sister is going to be in the Jr. High section of the camp, but the rest of my family are going to be renting a cabin until Wednesday! I am so excited to have this happen.
When I get back from Hume, I will show my favorite pics from both vacations. Then we will start the countdown for...

Montana So Far

OMG!!!!!! Montana is such a great place!!!! Our vacation has been wonderful! Let me tell you what we have done so far.
On Wednesday, the Mintons, my grandparents, and my family went on a tour of West Glacier National Park in one of the famous Red Bus Tours. We learned so much about the park, and we got to see some amazing sights. Thursday, we went white-water rafting down the Middle-Fork of the Flathead River. It was so much fun!!!! We went down class 2 and 3 rapids. The best rapid would have to be the Bone Crusher. I almost fell out of the raft on that one! But it was still great. Yesterday our family took a boat tour around Many Glacier in East Glacier. We also took some absolutely breathtaking hikes around Lake Josephine. That was really fun. Today, though, would have to be my favorite part of the trip so far. Earlier this morning, we had a energetic photographer, named Jamie, come over to my grandparents house, so she could take pictures of us! It was fun posing for pictures and getting to see more of the town that my grandparents live in. The pictures should be ready on Monday. We are anxiously awaiting that day!!!!

Reily's Blog Test Drive

My BFF, Reily Minton, wanted to know what it was like to write on a blog. I decided to let her test drive on my blog. Well...here it goes!

Hola!
I'm in Montana! I don't know if Brooke has told you or not, but we drove up here in a 15-seater van with all ten of us and our luggage crammed inside. The first day, we took 16 and a half hours just to get to our hotel!! (van trouble - don't ask). The second day, Meg almost got sick. The third day, we got to the Buzz's grandparent's house. (whew! made it!) And today, we're going to Glacier, NP. Oh, boy - another drive. Only 2 hours to get there, but it is a 6 hour drive around the park! Trust me - if we survived 16, we'll survive this!
Oh, and by the way, in case you're wondering, I'm the girl you see in the first 2 pics. The one next to Brooke. =)

Montana & Hume or Bust!

Soon, (and by soon I mean Friday) I will be leaving sunny and busy California for beautiful and quiet Montana. The great part of the trip is not only are we going to see beautiful sights, go horseback riding, go river rafting, and do so many more things, we also get to travel with our friends, the Mintons! The bummer about the trip is that we are spending three, never mind make that FOUR AND A HALF(you can now probably tell that I don't like long road trips) days driving up there in a rented 15 passenger van. After we get back from Montana, our whole family is going to Hume Lake for summer camp! The theme is called, Hey Rube. It is a clown theme(Please pray for me and Meghan because we both don't like clowns!). This entire month is going to be soooo much fun!
When I get back from vacation, I will tell you all about our trip. And then school starts!!

My Trip To The Beach

Yesterday, my family and close friends went down to the beach for a day of fun. Because of the surf contest that happened at Huntington Beach yesterday, we didn't get down to Bolsa Chica until 5:00. But we still had fun down in the water, searching for seashells,and eating at the campfire. We even found what we thought was a very smelly jellyfish buried on the beach! I thought I would share some pictures from the trip.

High School Group Events

I have only been in High School group at church for a couple of weeks now, but we have already had several fun events. Here are the ones that I did(and will be doing)this week.
On Monday, we went to Laser Quest in Chino to play lazertag. This was so much fun! We all chose code names(mine were: I <3 Cindr, Buzzattack, and Bruce), and then we proceeded into the game. We went over all the rules in a special room, and then we entered the Airlock to put on vests and to wait for our mission to begin. Once we began we had 30 seconds to hide, and then before you know it, there were lasers shooting everywhere aiming for targets on your vest. The sad thing was, only 23 people showed up, and out of those 23, only five girls came(including me!). But it was still very fun.
Today, I have another event at my church. It is called Make Your Own Movie Scavenger Hunt. Each team is given their own camera, a theme(like High School Musical, a romantic comedy, etc.), and a list of things to find. Once we find the things in the list, we have to use them in the movie that we make! I am so excited for this!

High School Update

There are two updates that I want to mention that have to involve high school. The first one is...
I start high school volleyball camp tomorrow. I will either play the summer league for the JV team or the Frosh/Soph team. I really don't care which one I play for, I just want to get playing time, and I hope to get better as the summer progresses.
The second update is that I have discovered that I will be part of the Health Sciences Academy at C.H.H.S., and I also now know my class schedule. Here are the orders of my classes:
1st period: ROP Health
2nd period: Algebra 1
3rd period: English 9 Honors
4th period: Biology Honors
5th period: LUNCH!!!!!
6th period: P.E. 9
7th period: Spanish 1
8th period: (I'm guessing that this period is in the works for the administration of my school)
Finding this information has made me even more excited for school to start. A date to put in the calendar: August 31st is the day I start high school!

2009 Volleyball Festival

This past week, I have been in Phoenix, Arizona for the Volleyball Festival. On Saturday, me, my mom, and my two sisters spent four and a half hours driving from Chino Hills to Phoenix. That evening, my club, Rancho Valley, went to the Opening Ceremonies. My entire team dressed up in tie dye shirts, shorts, flip flops, and light up glasses. Then, after what seemed like waiting for forever in 110 degree heat, we went into the Phoenix Convention Center. Our team was introduced, and we walked down a giant catwalk! I felt like a superstar!
The next few days went by VERY SLOWLY. From Sunday to Tuesday, we played regular pool play. The first day was tough. We ended up third in our seed. But Monday and Tuesday were our comeback days. We came first in our pool both times! On Tuesday night and the whole day on Wednesday was spent with my parents and my sisters. Wednesday morning, we went to the Sky Harbor Airport to pick up Meghan and Dad, who had just arrived from Miami(you can read about this story on Meghan's blog, Bug's Blog). The rest of the day was spent hanging out at the pool.
On Thursday, we were prepared to play with only six players. Two of our teammates had gotten strep throat over the week, so we played the first game with no subs. I played middle blocker in that game. That was so much fun! By the second match, both of our sick players had gone to Urgent Care, and they had decided to play with us. That day ended with us in fourth place. On Friday, our last day, we played with seven players. On our last game of the year, after we had lost our first match, my dad offered me two dollars if i made a jump serve over. I took up his offer. The first serve of the game was from me. I jump served, and it was an ace!!!!!! We ended up losing the game but it was still awesome for two reasons: my team had fun for the last time together as a team, and I got two bucks!
The 2009 Volleyball Festival was so much fun! I want to send a shoutout to Kennedy, Emily, Danica, Dani, Clarissa, Taylor, Rocky, and Michelle for a great season. I will miss you all so much!!!! Hope to see you all next year!

On Saturday, my soon to be high school, Chino Hills High, had its freshman orentation. The entire theme was western, so there were cactuses, cowboy boots, bandanas, and lassos. When we walked through the student entrance, there were cheerleaders, athletes, and students in a line leading toward the gym cheering and waving bandanas in the air. We walked in the gym, where we met several student leaders, and some teachers. Then we gathered in groups, and we were given tours of the school. We saw the two gyms, the Chinese and German language rooms, the art room, the theatre, and many others. After that, all the incoming freshmen gathered in the center of the school, which is called Center Ice, and we signed up for summer activities that we would like to participate in. It was great to see all the friends that I left in elementary school. And to top that, some of them are going to the volleyball camp during summer, just like me!

My "Suite" Adventure Part II

Sorry for getting back SO late to you on this, but I have news on the taping that I went to on April 24. IT WAS SOOOOOOO MUCH FUN!!!!!!! Unfortunately, we weren't allowed to bring any cameras or cellphones into the building, so I only have the pictures that I took before we went into the stage.

The taping itself was so fun. We saw an episode that was ready to premiere on Disney Channel. Then we saw the episode that was going to be taped. Im so sorry, but I'm not supposed to share anything about the episode that we saw taped. I'll just say that the S.S. Tipton visits the famous Bermuda Triangle.
